Pictures and movies on how to make your own, cheap pressure vessel out of PVC pipe. Key points:
1. Have a gap in the pipes to fix the clamp to otherwise back pressure will pull off the filters.
2. Use bag filters in succession, such as a 100 micron inside of a 50 micron inside of a 25 micron and so on... This prevents the media from being stretched when hung under pressure.
3. It is recommended not to use high pressure. keep it to about 10-20 psi. 40-50 will probably work fine with a lot of bag filters stacked in each other but you will risk stretching the media and squeezing particles through.
4. Not mentioned in the video, I was able to filter about 700 gallons of dirty oil in this set-up without cleaning the filters or using strainers beforehand. It was really slow in the end so you will probably only be patient enough for 500 gallons, but they will last a long time doing this especially if you strain them first!
